Andean Duck
Far away, in the middle of a lake, in dim misty light was this bird we’d stopped to see between two birding hotspots in our Colombia tour. Happy to have a photograph. Happy not with it’s quality.
It’s beautiful chestnut colouring set off with the bright blue beak are it’s summer colours. Fading to duller grey-brown combos.
