Bright eyed and loaded with personality like all kingfishers, the Amazon Kingfisher is spread across from southern Mexico south through Central America to northern Argentina. These photographs are from the flowing rivers of the Panthanal, Brazil. The male with a beautiful rufus breast, the female elegant in her emerald green and white.
